How the House got on the Hill, part two

Just in case you're interested:  How the House got on the Hill, part one and the end.

We lived through Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and spent Easter weekend with the GrandGirlies. A wonderful weekend! We also lived through another almost sleepless night. Monday morning, this BIG Yellow Guy showed up to put in the earthen ramp that the moving crew had laid out the previous Wednesday when they could not make delivery.

He cut a roadway diagonally through the front yard of the Little Old House.

This is a view from the front porch of the Little Old House. This also let's you see the BIG Yellow Guy's matching truck. The concrete is the septic tank, M thought it wise to uncover it so they wouldn't smush it.

To give you a better idea of how deep he cut into the yard, I took this shot of M on Big Orange. He is on the ramp and the yard level is above the middle of Big Orange's wheels.

The BIG Yellow Guy filled in part of the side yard and continued the ramp further on and up.

Until it met the road up the Hill. This is the earthen ramp on the left and the new driveway on the right. The earthen ramp was ready to go and the BIG Yellow Guy got parked right here next to our almost finished workshop. He got to spend the night at our house, because he was needed at the install party.

They'd be there the next morning around 10 to put our House on the Hill!
